New Years Eve Events in Bali

Go Party Hopping

New Years Eve Events in Bali are second to none. The entire area from Kuta, Legian, to Seminyak and Petitenget will be inundated with different parties. From the wild raves in Kuta to the more higher end nightlife in Seminyak, you can experience it all by simply walking along the beach-side road.

Watch Fireworks on the Beach

Most public beaches in Bali will have parties happening, and accompanying fireworks. If you’re looking to save some money or if you’re not into the party scene, you can simply chill out with friends or family on the beach and catch a free firework show.

Enjoy a quiet night with loved ones in Ubud

Ubud is Bali’s art and culture capital, so the celebrations happening here are more toned down than by the beach. The bars and restaurants here are more intimate for families or couples looking to enjoy a quiet night out. There are also different cultural performances that you may be able to catch while dining in a Ubud restaurant.

Celebrate like a Local

Head over to Bali’s capital, Denpasar to celebrate the way locals do. The area of Puputan Badung Park, in Denpasar’s city center is a popular area where locals congregate for prayers and cultural parades. Even though it’s only about 15 minutes away from Kuta, this area is far less touristy and provides a great way to immerse yourself in local New Year’s traditions.
